Institutions of higher education
are awarded funding to host the Study of the U.S. Institutes
through a competitive grant process.
Prospective host institutions must be accredited four-year liberal arts colleges, community colleges, universities, or other not-for-profit academic organizations that have an established reputation in one or more of the following fields: political science, international relations, law, history, sociology, American studies, and/or other disciplines or sub-disciplines related to the study of the United States.

current Requests For Grant
Proposals (RFGP).
