Prospective Host Institutions

 


Institutions of higher education are awarded funding to host the Study of the U.S. Institutes through a competitive grant process.

Prospective host institutions must be accredited four-year liberal arts colleges, community colleges, universities, or other not-for-profit academic organizations that have an established reputation in one or more of the following fields: political science, international relations, law, history, sociology, American studies, and/or other disciplines or sub-disciplines related to the study of the United States.

How to Apply
Institutions interested in hosting an Institute should check the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs’ website for current Requests For Grant Proposals (RFGP).
